About the ministry
토요 사랑의 교실 Class of Love
장애학생 친구들과 함께 하는 “사랑의교실”이 놀크로스 지역과 슈가로프 지역 두곳에서 매주 토요일 운영되어지고 있습니다.
장애인 “전도”라는 목적과, “참된 예배자”라는 표어를 두고 사랑의교실은 운영이 되어 지고 있습니다. 매주 토요일 오전에는 찬양과 말씀 그리고 성경공부로 함께 하며, 점심 식사후 오후에는 다양한 특별활동으로 함께하고 있습니다.
Class of Love is program design for handicapped children which operate every Saturday. The program includes praise & worship, sermon, bible movie time, one-to-one bible study, game, arts & craft. Afternoon program also includes lunch provided for churches around the communities and special activity classes such as music therapy, computer class, and cooking class and games/sports. We currently have a monthly chiropractic volunteer who ministers to staff and students alike after there special activities.
AMA (ATLANTA MILAL ACADEMY)
고등학교를 졸업한 성인 장애인을 대상으로 매주 화요일, 수요일, 목요일 그리고 금요일 프로그램이 운영되어지고 있습니다. 성인 장애인이 청년으로 됙립된 삶과, 직업훈련 그리고 사회성 증진을 목적으로, 시작된 AMA는 운동치료, 음악치료, 미술치료외에 다양한 프로그램으로 오전부터 오후까지 운영되고 있습니다.
Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday there is a program for people with disabilities who have graduated from High School. AMA began to help adult people with disabilities helping to become independent to work and be social. Variety of programs including Physical Therapy, Music Therapy, and Art Therapy runs from morning to afternoon.
주중 특별 활동 Milal Beauty Salon
밀알미용 - 한달에 한번씩 장애학생들의 머리를
다듬는 미용을 하고 있습니다.
Going to get a hair cut might be an easy thing for us, but it’s somewhat difficult for disable people. Milal Beauty Salon is dedicated just for disability kids who need their hair done. The beauty salon is operating last Wednesday of each month at Milal center.
“밀알&세계” 책자 발송
Milal & World Magazine
장애인들의 감동적인 삶 그리고 장애에 관한 다양한 정보와 각 지단의 밀알소식 등을 제공하는 “밀알&세계” 책자는 매달 마다 발행되며, 한국과 미국은 물론, 세계 나라에 배포 되어지고 있습니다.
관심있는 분들의 구독요청에 따라, 무료로 받아 볼수 있습니다.
Every month Milal publishes a magazine called, “Milal & World”. This magazine is being printed and published in 16 different countries worldwide. This magazine can be subscribed free by notifying the Milal office. This contains the encouragement testimonies of disability families, along with news and information dealing with disability people. “Milal & World” is also made by Audio-book dedicated for visually disabled people.
장애인주일 지키기
Disability Commemoration Day
1988년 정부는 4월 20일을 ‘장애인의’날로 정하여 지키기 시작하였고 한국교회는 1933년 한국 기독교협의회(KNCC), 제 42차 총회당시 장애인의 인간다운 권리를 회복하기 위한 한국교회 실천강령을 채택하여, 장애인 주일 지키기 운동을 지속해 오고 있습니다. 이곳 미국에서도 장애인의날 그리고 장애인 주일 지키기 운동을 통하여, 장애인도 모든 사람과 마찬가지로 하나님의 형상으로 지음 받은 존엄한 존재임을 기억하고, 장애인에 대한 편견이나, 정치, 경제, 사회, 문화등 모든 삶의 영역에서 장애인이 차별되거나, 소외당하지 않도록 계몽하고 있습니다.
In 1988, the government set April 20th as “Day of Disabled”. The Christian church members of Korea (KNCC) from 1933 at 42nd meeting had constantly pushed for this day to be set as to find the proper rights of disabled and have been kept pushing to exercise the “Disability Day”.

Reading for the Visually Impaired Ministry
시각 장애인들을 위한 도서 녹음 사역을 하고 있습니다. 신앙의 좋은 서적을 선별하여 시각장애인들도 함께 책을 읽을 수 있도록 녹음사역을 감당하고 있습니다.
Ministry for Visually Impaired. Selected Christians Books are recorded so Visually Impaired people are able to read books together.
FIELD TRIP
토요 “사랑의교실”과 AMA프로그램 에서는 한기에 한번씩, 학생과 교사는 물론 학부모님을 초청하여, Field Trip을 가고 있습니다. Field Trip은 자연을 통한 배움과 교제를 나누는 귀한 시간이라고 말 할 수 있습니다.
Every Semester in Class of Love, all of students and teachers of milal along with inviting parents of disability family go to Field Trip. Field Trip is to simply having learning lessons in relationship out in the field. Besides these, we have other field trips opportunities through a special audience group that provides free and reduced-priced tickets; and go somewhere monthly to receive isolation and encourage integration into American society.

사랑의 캠프 Milal Camp
미주 전지역에 흩어져 있는 밀알선교단, 단원 또는 장애인과 장애인 가족들이 한자리에 모여 사랑의캠프를 3일동안 동부에서 개최합니다. 해마다, 500명에서 600명까지 모이는 사랑의캠프 기간동안, 장애학생들을 위한 사랑의교실을 운영하며, 찬양, 공연, 수영, 특별활동등 다양한 프로그램이 준비되어 있습니다. 또한 밀알단원과 장애학생 가족을 위한 말씀으로 은혜받는 시간도 준비되어 있습니다.
Milal USA held Camp once a year dividing east and west within US. The 3 days camp is held by all the volunteer members, staff, and students, and families. Each year more than 400 people show up at the camp. The Camp consists of many activities such as skit, games, arts & crafts, swimming, and special talent contest. For parents and volunteers, special guest is invited to give spiritual fulfillment.

밀알 여름학교 Milal Summer VBS
방학동안 장애인 학생들을 위한 여름학교가 6월 한달동안 개강됩니다. 장애인 학생들의 특수성을 고려하여 신앙교육과 생활교육을 목적으로 함께 고려하여 준비됩니다.
For the entire month of June, Summer VBS is held during the break.
Preparing for chrisitan and social activities considering their disabilities.
밀알 일일 찻집 Milal Day Café
밀알 일일찻집은 따뜻한 차와 다과를 나누며 장애인을 사랑하고, 보이지 않는 곳에서 장애인을 섬기는 모든 밀알의 가족들이 모여 즐거운 교제와 만남을 가집니다. 일 년에 한번있는 밀알 일일찻집은 밀알선교단 자체 운영을 위한 선교기금 모금과 밀알 홍보에 목적을 두고 있습니다.
The main purpose of Milal Day Café is to raise offerings to spend for the operations cost of Milal mission. Milal day café is inviting our friends and neighbors to share hot beverages and find new relationships with our neighbors in Christ. Day Café is once a year event for Milal.
밀알의 밤 Night of Milal
일년에 한번있는 밀알의 밤 행사는 장애인들과 함께하는 “밀알의 잔치”라 할수 있습니다. 예배형식으로 드려지는 밀알의밤은 장애인과 밀알에 관심있는 강사목사님을 초청하여, 말씀으로 은혜 받은 귀한 시간입니다. 또한 토요사랑의교실 학생들과 교사들이 함께 찬양을 드리는 흐뭇한 시간도 있습니다.
Once a Year we have “Milal Fiesta” with all of church members in our communities and friends and families. Held in the form of praise & worship, starts off with sign praise worship, and guest speaker speaks. In the program, there is special time for presenting singing time performed by disability children and their parents.
밀알센타 마련을 위한 모금 캠페인Fundraising Campaign For Milal Center
애틀랜타 밀알선교단에서는 밀알센타 마련을위한 $500,000 모금캠페인을 전개하고 있습니다.
애틀랜타 밀알선교단은 2000년부터 지난 21년 동안 장애인 전도, 봉사, 계몽 이라는 3대 목표를 그리스도 예수님의 마음으로 실천하고 있습니다. 사랑의교실, AMA프로그램, 주중특별활동 그리고 그룹홈등 밀알 사역들이 활발하게 운영되어질수 있도록 센타 모금 캠페인에 여러분의 참여를 부탁드립니다. 캠페인 참여 방법은 아래 온라인 또는 벤모를 통하여 참여할수 있으며, 또는 전화, 우편메일로도 참여가 가능합니다
Atlanta Wheat Mission in Atlanta is doing fundraising to raise $500,000 to fund Milal Center.
Since 2000, Atlanta Wheat Mission has carried three purposes: Evangelism, Service, Education for people with disabilities with the heart of Christ. Class AGAPE, Atlanta Milal Academy, Special Activities, and Group Home are some of the ministries of Wheat Mission in Atlanta.
